Gift of Hope, Inc, a 501(c) (3) not for profit organization, received a color multi-function system donation from Corporate Business Systems on Valentine’s Day.  They could just feel the love.

Janet Akers, an Account Executive for Corporate Business Systems in Taney and Stone counties, offered the donation after hearing that Gift of Hope was in need of a copy machine.  Janet, knowing the type of organization that she works for, was certain that they could help.

Akers and Meghan Connell, Director of Gift of Hope, met to discuss the programs Gift of Hope coordinates in Taney County.    During the conversation, Connell mentioned the need of a new copy machine and lack of funds.     Akers spoke with Jim Quesenberry, owner of CBS, and he did not hesitate about assisting Gift of Hope.   One of the core beliefs of Corporate Business Systems is community.  That core belief is as follows:

Community – We build key relationships by supporting our community through the donation of our time, money, and resources.

We were very enthusiastic in our support of Gift of Hope realizing that by supporting organizations like this one we are investing  not only in  the here and now but also in the future.

Gift of Hope coordinates the Backpack Club in Taney County schools.  We believe in the value of education and realize that the future of this great country lies in the youth of today.   This program provides food for children to be sent home each weekend during the school year, in cases where supplemental food is needed outside of the school meal program.  We are very happy to be a small part of this endeavor and hope that through this joint venture we can take one small step in helping the children in the southwest Missouri area where we serve.
